Do I need to upgrade?

Kaspersky AntiVirus 2.0 for WinGate is a major improvement to version 1.1. For that reason, we strongly recommend you upgrade.

If you plan on running WinGate 6.1, then you must upgrade, since WinGate 6.1 does not support versions of Kaspersky AntiVirus for WinGate prior to version 2.0.

Your existing Kaspersky AntiVirus 1.1 license will work in Kaspersky AntiVirus 2.0 (as long as it hasn't expired), so there should be no reason to stop you from upgrading.
